Wellmore was formed with a bold and ambitious plan to combine the resources of two strong non-profits with deep community roots and create an innovative, lifespan-oriented community behavioral health model, which will radically improve our capabilities to meet community needs.  Wellmore serves its client to provide wellness for a lifetime.

Wellmore brings together essential and unduplicated programs, offers more timely access to a wider array of behavioral health care services, and leads to better outcomes and an enhanced positive impact for the community.

Our integrated continuum of child and adult services include:

  • Outpatient psychiatric/behavioral health treatment services for adults, children and families
  • Adult and adolescent Intensive Outpatient services for substance abuse, co-occurring and mental health disorders
  • Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services for children
  • Case Management and Supportive Housing
  • Evidence-based, intensive, home-based treatment models for children, adolescents and their families
  • School-based behavioral health care and early intervention
  • Trauma informed and victim of crime services
  • Child abuse prevention and early intervention services
  • Early childhood treatment programs and consultation
  • Congregate Care programs (Therapeutic Group Home for adolescent boys, an adult male Recovery House,Therapeutic Shelter, Women and Children’s program)
  • Service collaboration
  • Outreach, community education, support, and training
  • Linkage to aftercare services for clients transitioning from jail to the community

Wellmore Behavioral Health, serves a 43-town region spanning from greater Waterbury and the Naugatuck Valley to northwest Connecticut. Wellmore serves more than 10,000 clients on an annual basis, including children, adolescents, adults and entire families.
