Billing and Collection Specialist – Full Time – located at 141 East Main Street, Waterbury – Responsible for maintaining accurate financial/billing information in the medical billing system; all collection activity for all fee for service payors and self pays;
Identify and resolve all past due accounts to maximize reimbursement to Wellmore for services provided.
REQUIRES: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s preferred in Finance or related field of study plus 2 years accounts receivable in medical collections. Must also be proficient with Medical Billing Software and Spreadsheets, able to effectively
communicate with insurance carriers, families, etc.

TEAM LEADER – NURTURING FAMILIES NETWORK – Full Time – located at 141 East Main Street, Waterbury – Responsible for the supervision, coordination and scheduling of the home visitation staff, nurturing connections staff, and nurturing parents group staff in their assigned program. Responsibilities include client assessment, project evaluation, record keeping, coordination of services and communication with collateral community service providers. REQUIREMENTS: A master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or social work with at least a 3-5 years post graduate experience working with families in crisis, Knowledge of child abuse and neglect reporting criteria preferred. A Connecticut license as a LMFT, LCSW, LPC is required. Demonstrated leadership abilities through a combination of training and work experience is required
LICENSED SENIOR CLINICIAN – CHILDREN’S OUTPATIENT – NAUGATUCK – The Senior Clinician is responsible for direct services with children, adolescents and their families including but not limited to evaluation/assessment; home & community based services; outreach; case and care management; individual and family therapies; crisis intervention; record keeping; collaboration with other professionals, team members and related community services (including consultation and/or community and/or school placements); and program management/supervision. The Senior Clinician assists in the supervision of staff and interns. He/she may be assigned to respond to after hour calls for assistance either by telephone or in person (as clinically indicated). Position is Monday – Friday and requires some evening work. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our clients. Requirements: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work and a Connecticut license (LMFT, LCSW) A Master’s degree in a human service field with at least one year clinical internship working with children and/or adolescents and a Connecticut license as a Professional Counselor will also be considered. Experience in both group and family therapies is preferred
BILINGUAL CRISIS CLINICIAN EMPS –1 Full time Opportunity – All Areas – To implement treatment plans (primarily crisis stabilization plans) that may include psychotherapy and clinically required support services including but not limited to translation, advocacy and linkage to other needed services. Will provide community based outreach and treatment services as defined by the treatment plan and/or client need, in a variety of settings including but not limited to: agency offices sites, client homes, schools, emergency rooms, shelters, police stations, etc. This may include providing after-hours coverage, on weekends and/or on Holidays and/or ‘back-up’ of assigned after-hour staff, as designated by the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: A master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or social work with at least a one year clinical internship working with children and/or adolescents or families is required and/or a Connecticut license as a Professional Counselor will be considered. Bilingual (Eng/Spanish) skills required.
Care Coordination – F/T – Covering Wtby, Danbury & TorringtonCare Coordinators provide service brokerage, linkages, coordination, follow-up and advocacy. Care Coordinators utilize strength-based, family-driven, youth-guided, culturally responsive principles to develop individualized, therapeutic relationships with families. The purpose of Care Coordination is to ensure that multiple services are delivered in a coordinated and therapeutic manner, and that they can move through the system of services in accordance with their changing needs. Requirements: A college degree (BA, BS or BSW) or (MA, MS, MSW, MFT) in a human service field (e.g., social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or psychology, etc.). Valid CT Driver’s License required. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
RESIDENTIAL – CHILD CARE WORKERS – Per Diem POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT BOTH. CCW’s provide direct care, supervision, behavior management, and recreational programming for the children. They will participate in the planning and implementation of programming specifically designed to encourage developmental growth for the clients. CCWs provide crisis intervention, including performing restraints when necessary. They are responsible to provide observations of resident behaviors with the Residential Supervisors and the clinical staff as needed. They create and maintain a clean work environment, attend bi-monthly staff meetings, administer medication, as scheduled by nurse and prescribed by psychiatrist and adhere to the staffing schedule, with the understanding that shift assignments are determined by program needs. Requires Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year in a youth-oriented program.

Case Manager/Coordinator Per Diem 16 hrs/week– Adult Outpatient at 402 East Main Street, Waterbury Performs Case Management duties for Community Offender Substance Abuse Treatment Services. Must be able to work 16 hrs/week, 4 days per week between 9a-1pm.
