As a CT Licensed Psychologist and a Senior Manager at a large non-profit, community behavioral health center, I see the toll that behavioral health and substance abuse disorders can have on children, adolescents, young adults and their families every day. These problems certainly do not discriminate to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status and are realities in our lives and communities every day. Unfortunately children suffer, daily, and in many neighborhoods and schools, alone and
